Kochi – Thekkady – Kumarakom – Alleppey – Kovalam – Trivandrum Day 01 :  Arrive Kochi ( by Flight) Meeting assistance on arrival and transfer to the hotel. On arrival check in at hotel.Overnight at hotel Day 02 : Cochin Today after your breakfast you will proceed to visit to the Jewish Synagogue (closed on Friday & Saturday) built in 1568. Scrolls of the Old Testament and a number of copper plates inscribed in Hebrew script are preserved here. The building was destroyed by the Portuguese in 1662 and rebuilt by the Dutch two years later. Continue you visit to St. Francis Church, the oldest church constructed by the Europeans in India. Built by the Portuguese in 1510, it housed the remains of Vasco da Gama for 14 years before it was transferred to Lisbon. His tombstone can be seen inside the church. Also visit the Mattancherry Palace, built by the Portuguese in 1555. The Palace was presented to the Raja of Kochias a gesture of goodwill. This was also known as the Dutch Palace (closed on Friday), resulting from substantial renovation by the Dutch after 1663. The central hall was the Coronation Hall of the Rajas. Their dresses, turbans and palanquins and murals from Hindu mythology are all beautiful and worth seeing. Culminate the tour at Fort Kochi, which is said to be the oldest European settlement in India.Overnight at hotel  Day 03 :  Cochin- Thekkady  (By Road, Approx 4.5 Hrs) After breakfast drive to Periyar National Park. This unique wildlife sanctuary is about 780 sq. km centered around an artificial lake fed by the Periyar River.  Afternoon proceed for  boat ride on the Lake Periyar, where one can have a unique experience of viewing wildlife at close quarters from the safety of a boat on the lake. The greatest attraction of Periyar, however are the herds of wild elephants that come down to play in the lake. (Boat ride is booked in advance -Subject to availability)  On return half an hour spice plantation tour: Stroll amid lush, terraced farms, sprawling tea estates while listening to bird songs and the murmuring of mountain streams. The spice plantation tours in Periyar are famous for the cardamom plantations. The cardamom of Periyar is of the finest quality and is exported around the world.Overnight at hotel  Day 04 : Thekkady-Kumarakom (By Road, Approx 4.5 Hrs) After the breakfast leave for Kumarakom by surface. On arrival check-in at hotel. Kumarakom is a breezy backwater fishing village on the shores of the Vemanad backwaters which is spread over four districts of central Kerala. A clear reflection of the term “God own country” is what Kumarakom is all about. The country side ambience and the closeness to the nature bodies make it a place away from the busy world. This farming village has very fertile land and is a center of farming and livestock. Even though Kumarakom is an artificial extension of land to the backwaters, no one would feel it that way. The combination of canals streams and bunds make it ideal local man fishing. Rest of the day at your own. Enjoy Ayurveda Massage at hotel ( Direct payment) Overnight stay at hotel Day 05 : Kumarakom – Alleppey ( By House Boat) Morning check-out from the hotel and board a houseboat. Cruise towards Alleppey, the backwaters cruise takes off through a network of canals with a back drop of villages and coconut trees on the shores. Please Note : The houseboat timing as follows

• Check In at 12.15  hours and Check Out at Pallathurathy /Alleppey by 09.00 hours
• Standard Cruise starts from 12:00 Noon to 18:00 hrs and again  from 06:30 to 09:00 hrs next day
• Between 18:00 hrs to 06:00 AM , the Houseboat will be anchored in safer place  for dinner and Overnight sleep.

Day 06 : Alleppey – Kovalam (By Road, Approx 04 Hrs) After breakfast disembark   houseboat.  Drive to Kovalam, Kovalam beach, one of the most beautiful beaches of the world. The Surf here is ideal for surf-riding and the water invites the visitor to rid e the “Catamaran” or log, with the fisherman, or to take a cool swim. Nearby is the beach centre of aquatic sports. At the Yoga and Health Centre, yoga classes and transcendental meditation are held. Ayurvedic oil massages and oil-bath are given by experts. (On direct payment basis ) Upon arrival check in, in the hotel. Overnight at hotel Day 07 : Kovalam Today after your breakfast you will proceed to half day sightseeing of Trivandrum City Sri Padmanabhaswamy Temple (Non Hindus are not allowed), dedicated to Lord Vishnu. This 260-year old temple has a gopuram that rises 30 metres in the sky and intricately carved pillars which are beautiful, Kuthiramalika Palace (Horse Palace)-Kuthiramalika Palace Museum or Puthenmalika Palace Museum is a beautiful two-storeyed palace situated near the Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple. Also known as horse palace it houses numerous artifacts. The unique Navarathri Mandapam in front of the palace, a venue for concerts, uses traditional sound reflectors comprising of 50 clay pots hung upside down from the ceiling, creating an effect that outdoes even modern acoustic systems, Napier Museum: This is an art and natural history museum which houses a collection of archaeological and historic artifacts, bronze idols, ancient ornaments, a temple chariot and ivory carvings, Chitralayam Art Gallery: See works by renowned painters Raja Ravi Varma and Nicholas Roerich as well as examples of Mughal and Tanjore art, Observatory- it is the place where Travancore royal family used to entertain their guests. Also visit Connemara market and Chalai bazaar  Evening back to Kovalam . Overnight at hotel Day 08 : Kovalam Day at leisure. (No transport) Overnight at hotel  Day 09 : Kovalam-Trivandrum & Departure Today in time, transfer to Trivandrum Airport (30 Minutes) to connect onward flight
